Glynn County Projects

Glynco Parkway Widening – US 17 to Spur – and review/Design of Jetport Road

Budget: $1,515,800

Demere road and drainage improvements.

Budget: $2,448,600

Canal road at Glynco Parkway road improvements Phase 2

Budget: $2,915,000

Perry lane road expansion and bridge replacement.

Budget: $8,353,860

Extension of McKenzie Road to Highway 341.

Budget: $990,000

Old Jesup road improvements

Budget: $2,098,000

Gateway is at capacity and dangerous with significant backups. This will improve traffic flow onto and off of St. Simons.

Budget: $13,992,000

Roadway and resurfacing throughout the county.

Budget: $8,000,000

City of Brunswick Projects

Repair and/or install concrete sidewalks, including, but not limited to the 1600-2600 block of Albany St, 2500-3000 block of Reynolds St, and Lee St.

Budget: $1, 100,000

Purchase of new and/or replacements equipment and infrastructure upgrades for Public Works Department.

Budget: $900,000

Construction of Boardwalk Trail along Hwy 17, and other multi-use trail segments such as Altama/MLK corridor.

Budget: $3,500,000

Resurface, pave and repair various city roads including portions of Altama Avenue and others as identified by Pavement Condition Assessment.

To repair roads that are deteriorated and in poor condition due to age, drainage, or other issues; to provide better streets for multimodal traffic.
